Bridge Piercings Readme

Thanks for the purchase! Here’s a little readme on how to work the piercings. They’re pretty simple.
TO RECOLOR:
/501 rc.color
example: /501 rc.green
Accepted colors: red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, purple, pink, white, gray, black
TO HIDE/SHOW THE NOSE PIERCING:
/501 hn
/501 sn
TO FIX TRANSPARENCY HICCUPS:
/501 ft
TO WEAR:
Right-click > Add.
I’ve lined these piercings up already before boxing them, so they should work just fine this way. You could also just Wear the piercings, but that might override whatever’s on that attachment slot and you could lose your head/hair/face/etc.
TO LINK:
NOTE: Not all heads will cooperate with linking piercings to them!
The Curious Felis is not compatible with linking new things to it, for example.
Do this with caution and always keep a backup!
Go find a sandbox, or somewhere where you can rez for a few minutes.
Make a backup of your head. Always do this whenever you’re going to mod something, in case something breaks.
Rez your head and your piercings.
Right-click EDIT on your HEAD, then go to the OBJECT tab on the Build floater window.
Under “Position” enter in some nice even coords. Make note of these.
If you’re in a viewer that supports this, hit the “C” button next to the X-axis coords box now.
Right-click EDIT on your PIERCINGS, then go to the OBJECT tab on the Build floater window.
Under Position enter in the same coords you entered into the head. Your piercings should line up.
If you’re in a viewer that supports his, hit the uppercase “P” next to the Y-axis coords box. That pastes the last copied coordinates.
Now select the PIERCINGS and then the HEAD, and hit CTRL-L (or whatever your combo for LINK is).
Now you can take your head back into inventory and wear it to make sure everything’s lined up right.
