This modkit requires the following avatar:

It will not work with other avatars.
It may work with modified chest meshes, but placement might be a bit off.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE [ BAKES ON MESH ] :
Right click -> Add the desired Universal layer.
Make sure that this layer is on top of all other layers that affect the ears (e.g. skin base, ear flesh) or it won’t be visible.
You can adjust layer order + layer tinting in the Outfits layer. (These aren’t really meant to be tinted, but you can if you want!)
If for some reason you want to use a Tattoo layer instead, I’ve included one, but know that Tattoo layers will always show UNDERNEATH Universal layers, so if you’re wearing Universal layers that cover the chest (e.g. the default Crux X BoM layers) you will NOT see the Tattoo version.
NOTE: It’s not possible right now to do asymmetry with BoM (or at least, I have not found a way that does not involve changing the BoM for that entire body’s textures, which is not ideal. If you have any ideas let me know)
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE [ MANUAL ] :
!! THIS REQUIRES SOME MODDING EXPERIENCE !!
Note: I have not included an applier for this - I don’t want folks to accidentally make their main body just a floating set of pasties, and also if you’re going to use an overlay mesh for just the chest, you only need the chest, not the arms legs tail etc.
First step: Create a copy of your Crux X’s torso. We’ll be using this torso as an “overlay” layer, wearing it alongside the main body.
Drag a copy of your Crux X to the ground.
It will hit you with a bunch of script errors because it’s trying to play the AO. This is normal. Next step will fix.
!!Delete all of the contents of the rezzed body - you won’t need them!!
With “Edit Linked” selected, select both sides of the torso.
Unlink the two torso pieces. Pull them aside. Link just those two halves together. Rename this new torso to something new and shiny.
If you want asymmetry, you can delete the half you don’t want!
Delete the arms, legs, etc. You don’t need those.
Next step: Apply the textures
Using the Texture window, drag and drop / select the Crux X Pixel Heart Pasties texture in your inventory and apply it.
Make sure the Alpha Mode is set to either “Alpha Blending” or “Alpha Masking” with a cutoff of at least 3.
Take the torso overlay to your inventory and Right Click -> Wear to wear it. All done!
