A collection of useful tools I've found for Second Life, usually either free or low-cost, with Marketplace links. Here's the first batch, copied over from the old iteration of my site!
Helps you visualize which bones are being animated, where attachment points are, helps you test joints and weight painting, etc - there is a LOT in this, please read the description!
I use this for one specific feature: the eye control. It lets you lock your eyes facing forward - very helpful for keeping them still while working on them - or look around to make sure your eyes don’t clip.
Most of the other functions aren’t used very much / at all anymore; they used the old non-bento LL avatar expressions and hand poses
Really simple camera locking tool. Put your camera where you want it, hit “Set”, do what you gotta do, then hit “Release” when you’re done. Handy for getting clips of walk cycles and stuff where you have to actually move for something to happen, but don’t want your camera to follow you.
Lets you record set camera positions and cycle between them. Very useful if you have a photo-booth set up and want your camera at the exact same angle every time.
The linked version is no-copy; there is a full-perm version available in the store.
Free and easy to set up unpacker HUD. Includes configurable buttons for Marketplace, Inworld Store, Group, and Caspervend Redeliveries in addition to the unpacker functions.
